The VTB United League championship calendar arranged an original two-round competition for “Tsmoki-Minsk” and Kazakhstan's “Astana”: within five days, the teams met each other twice. On Sunday, the “dragons” were stronger in Minsk - 66:60. Today in Nur-Sultan, Rostislav Vergun's wards secured their success with the second victory in a fierce struggle that led to overtime — 65:64 (25:17, 15:12, 7:12, 8:14, 10:9).

Tomorrow, on March 13, Tsmoki-Minsk host the most titled Kazakh club “Astana” (Nur Sultan) at the home arena “Falcon club” within the framework of the VTB United League. The game starts at 15:00.

After a significant pause, the VTB United League decided to continue the championship. However, almost all the teams approached the upcoming games with a heavily changed rosters due to the departure of a large group of legionnaires, mostly Americans, to their homeland.

Tomorrow, on March 6, Tsmoki-Minsk meet with the Russian club UNICS – the leader of the VTB United League. The game will take place at the Basket Hall in Kazan and starts at 19:00.

On February 25 and 28, the Belarusian men’s team will play two matches of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers against the UK team. The first meeting will take place at the court of the Minsk Sports Palace (the game starts at 19:30). The second one will be in Newcastle (22:00 Belarusian time).

For almost two months, due to Covid postpones, Tsmoki-Minsk did not play in the VTB United League. And finally, the forced downtime is over. Today, at the Falcon Club court, Rostislav Vergun and the squad met with Enisey Krasnoyarsk. The match ended with a brilliant victory for the Dragons, who showed their fighting spirit and fortitude — 72:68 (7:21, 17:26, 19:10, 29:11).
