We played away from PARMA-PARI

Today, the MINSK men's team played against PARMA-PARI at the site of the SC Molot in Perm. The captain of our team, Aliaksei Trastsinetski, did not take part in the meeting due to indisposition, while Tylor Ongvae came out on the floor after the opponent's recovery. In the second confrontation of the season , Evgeny Pashutin 's team won with the score 85:62 (23:10, 23:19, 19:12, 20:21).

Starting fives:

MINSK: Daniil Kasko, Benjamin-Pavel Dodoo, Vadzim Stubeda, Supreme Hannah, Kiryl Sitnik.

PARMA-PARI: Tylor Ongwae, Malik Dime, Pavel Antipov, Justin Robinson, Bryon Allen.

Permians pleased their fans with a confident start, immediately gaining an advantage on the scoreboard. Our guys at first could not get used to the opponent's ring and made a significant number of misses both from behind the arc and from under the ring. Vadzim Stubeda, Kiryl Sitnik, Jovan Sljivancanin and Uladzislau Mikulski scored effective shots from an average distance in the first ten minutes of the game in our team. On the first break, the teams left with a score of 23:10.

After a 4-0 scoring run at the start of the second quarter from Evgeny Pashutin's team, the head coach of MINSK took a timeout. The conversation with the coach went to the benefit of the Minsk residents, and Supreme Hannah single-handedly made a retaliatory scoring run 5:0. Unfortunately, offensive losses and misses during the quarter did not allow MINSK to reduce the gap on the scoreboard by the end of the next ten minutes of the game (46:29).

In the third quarter, our players began to get shots from behind the arc. So, Daniil Barysevich and Supreme Hannah designed the exact “three-point”, however, the opponent at that time was not inferior in performance. Making more rebounds, PARMA-PARI, with the support of the stands, went to the break with an advantage of 24 points (65:41).

In the final quarter, our guys were not inferior in their desire to win, but the higher accuracy remained with the owners of the site. In our team, Daniil Kasko, Daniil Barysevich, Kanstantsin Pasko and Uladzislau Mikulski made accurate throws from an average distance, and Benjamin-Pavel Dodoo and Kiryl Sitnik loaded spectacular “three-point” shots. Unfortunately, it was not possible to take the victory to Minsk from Perm. The match ended with a score of 85:62.

The most productive:

MINSK: Daniil Barysevich – 10 + 1 REB + 1 AST + 2 STL, Benjamin-Pavel Dodoo – 8 + 3 REB + 4 AST + 2 STL, Supreme Shakur Hannah – 8 + 1 REB+ 1 AST

PARMA-PARI: Justin Roberson – 22 + 4 REB + 7 AST + 2 STL+ 1 block, Bryon Allen – 17 + 6 REB+ 8 AST + 2 STL, Tylor Ongwae – 11 + 2 REB+ 3 STL.

MINSK head coach Rostislav Vergun: ”We lost to the opponent in almost all components of the game. We are inferior in size, strength, and skill. Therefore, there is no need to wait for a miracle. The game dictates its own rules, we need to develop, become strong at least in skill – in what we can influence.”

Our team will play the next game for the first time on the home court against the Moscow MBA. The match will take place on December 18 at Falcon Club Arena at 3:00 PM. Tickets are available on the website and at points of sale KVITKI.by . We are rooting for MINSK!
