Heavy forward Alexandar Zecevic will play for the basketball club “MINSK" until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Aleksandar was born on October 3, 1996 in the suburb of Novi Sad, Serbia. From the age of six he trained in local clubs, in 2015 he left for the USA and entered the Scotland Performance Institute.
In 2016/17, he played in the junior NCAA for Motlow College (Tennessee), in 2017/18 — for San Jacinto College (California). In 2018, Aleksandar enrolled at Florida Atlantic University and joined the Florida Owls playing in the NCAA.
In 2020, Aleksandar began his professional career at the Slovak club Gandlova (14.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists), also played for the Kharkiv Falcons (Ukraine) and the finalist of the Israeli championship of the 2021/22 season Bnei Herzliya.
In the previous season, Aleksandar played for the Polish team Zelena Gura and was among the most productive players: 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists. In the summer of 2023, BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod signed a contract with the basketball player.
